Stunning finca with vineyard near Ronda, inland Andalucia

A stunning property 10 minutes from the historic town of Ronda surrounded by undulating cork forests in Ronda's wine growing area. It is a working vineyard, set in 28 hectares of land, with 800 square meter house and 200 square meter terrace at the back. The views from the property are out to the ancient Roman town of Acinipo and its famous arch. It is a place steeped in history, peaceful and private. The owner and designer of the property has a past as an antiquarian and has used noble materials such as marble, stone and wood to build this oasis of calm and elegance.

The house is all on one level, disposed around a central courtyard and surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. The stunning views are to the back of the property and lead down the valley towards the old roman ruins of Acinipo. It is finished to the highest standard and with gorgeous details, such as the old marble sinks in the bathrooms and old roman gravestones set into the dry stone walls that surround the property.

The property is accessed through big antique doors that lead onto the central courtyard with a stone fountain. The elegant entrance hall is flanked by two ancient old lions and this leads in turn to the main part of the house. To the left, we find the large open-plan kitchen/diner and opposite the large and light dinning room, with french doors leading out onto the terrace at the back. There is a living/snug room as well as an enormous formal sitting room, with french doors leading out to the back terrace, the pool and the views of the countryside and roman ruins. An office library leads onto the master bedroom, with a sitting area and a beautiful large bathroom with a stand-alone marble bath and wet room. The bathroom also has large glass windows which lead out onto an internal bamboo zen garden. There are 3 other bedrooms, all on suite and some with their own living area. All bedrooms are accessed via the internal courtyard at the front and lead out onto the terrace or landscaped gardens at the back. All the rooms in the house have marble fireplaces.

The large open terrace at the back of the house leads down to the swimming pool and secluded outdoor areas with ponds and water features as well as an outdoor dining area with barbeque. Under the terrace is an unfinished basement which could house an indoor pool and a gym.

There is also an independent apartment with its own galley kitchen, sitting room and bedroom, on suite, with its own separate entrance.

There are 28 hectares of grounds in total with a mature 15-year-old vineyard growing a variety of grapes and 100 productive olive trees.
